Earthquake Brace + Bolt
The Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) program is a state-sponsored incentive initiative designed to assist homeowners in reducing the potential damage to their homes during earthquakes. For older homes that do not meet current building standards for seismic preparedness in their foundations, the EBB program offers financial support for a seismic retrofit. This retrofit entails bolting the house to its foundation and installing bracing around the perimeter of the crawl space.
